釘を使わず、木と木を組み合わせてつくる 平安時代より伝わる日本の伝統工芸『さしもの』。 手にするカンナは、約 160 種。 まるでペーパーヤスリで磨き上げたようなつるつるとした手触りも、 実は、カンナによるものです。 こうした職人技から生まれる『人肌』のようなぬくもり。 そんなモノとのスキンシップを、
身近な生活雑貨に活かしたくて、
さしもの小物は誕生しました。

ひっかかりがなく、赤ちゃんがなめても安心です。
なんの細工も感じない木片から音がこぼれる不思議さは
大人でもちょっと触ってみたくなる。
握り方や木の種類で音色が変わるので、楽器としても楽しめます。
見た目を裏切る重さに驚くペーパーウェイトは、 立方体と直方体の 2 種類ご用意しました。 中に鉛が仕込んでありますが、さて、つぎ目はどこでしょう?
